By accessing or using TaperMeds, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. Description of Service
TaperMeds is a clinical decision-support tool that generates evidence-based medication taper plans. It is designed to assist licensed healthcare professionals and does not replace clinical judgment.
3. Clinical Disclaimer
TaperMeds provides clinical decision support based on published guidelines including the Maudsley Deprescribing Guidelines. All taper plans must be reviewed and approved by a licensed prescriber before implementation. TaperMeds is not a substitute for professional medical judgment, diagnosis, or treatment.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate professional information during registration and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use TaperMeds only for lawful clinical purposes. You may not reverse-engineer, redistribute, or misrepresent the platform or its outputs.
6. Subscription & Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, software, and branding on TaperMeds are owned by TaperMeds or its licensors. You retain ownership of clinical data you enter into the platform.
8. Limitation of Liability
TaperMeds is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for clinical outcomes resulting from use of the platform. Maximum liability is limited to the fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@tapermeds.com.
